Please take a copy of your charge, complaint or lawsuit with you and ask that your copy be file-stamped "Received" by the agency or court receiving it.
THERE ARE DEADLINES FOR THE FILING OF A COMPANY, AGENCY COMPLAINT OR UNION GRIEVANCE OR CHARGE. GENERALLY, IT COULD BE AS SHORT AS 5 DAYS OR UP TO 300 DAYS.
