Notice:

 

If you are filing a charge or complaint with any City, State or Federal agency or a lawsuit, please hand-deliver your charge, complaint or lawsuit to the appropriate agency or court. Please take a copy of your charge, complaint or lawsuit with you and ask that your copy be file-stamped "Received" by the agency or court receiving it.

 

THERE ARE DEADLINES FOR THE FILING OF A COMPANY, AGENCY COMPLAINT OR UNION GRIEVANCE OR CHARGE. GENERALLY, IT COULD BE AS SHORT AS 5 DAYS OR UP TO 300 DAYS. THE DEADLINE FOR THE FILING OF A LAWSUIT GENERALLY VARIES, BASED ON THE LAW INVOLVED, FROM 90 DAYS TO 3 YEARS. THE PRECEDING IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND DOES NOT CONSTITUTE LEGAL ADVICE. 

 

If you are unemployed and have not already done so, we recommend that you apply for unemployment compensation right away. If you have a retirement plan or a separation agreement, you should consider having it reviewed in connection with and prior to filing for unemployment compensation. If you are transmitting a Notice of Right to Sue issued by any government agency, the notice is to be sent by certified mail to: Jim Abrams, LLC, 401 Westwood Drive, Denver, CO 80206.

 

If you have a matter relating to your or my appearance at an administrative or judicial hearing or trial, please email and call me as soon as possible at (303) 321-6087.

 

If you have an urgent matter, please email me and mark the email "Urgent. “It may take up to 24 hours to return your call or email if it is not urgent.

 

If your case is accepted for potential enforcement, there are no guarantees relating to any aspect of a case's outcome. 

 

If you are dropping off documents or other information to this office, please provide a copy and retain the originals. We do not accept originals. Files are not maintained after 30 days once your case is closed. If you would like your file, please provide a written request prior to the expiration of 30 days after your case is either closed or no further activity has been requested or authorized. Please provide your latest mailing address and contact information. 

 

Please continue to call into the CUBLINE even if you are denied unemployment benefits while your case is under appeal.
